The Key Elements of Webinars

Webinars are online group presentations that allow you to go from one-on-one presentations to one-to-many presentations. This is the ultimate way to leverage your efforts to raise some serious capital quickly. The goal of your webinar is not to sell a deal but to get people on a one-on-one conversation.

The first step is to pick a day and a time for your webinar. The best days are Thursdays, Wednesdays, and Tuesdays. The best time depends on where the vast majority of your contacts live. If they live locally, 7:30 PM your local time is recommended. If they live all across the country, 6 PM Pacific which translates into 9 PM Eastern is recommended.

The second step is to set up your presentation. The simplest, easiest, fastest way to get going is to use Zoom. You should use the paid version of Zoom to avoid the meeting shutting off after 40 minutes.

The third step is to do your presentation. You don’t want to use your entire investor presentation for your webinar. Instead, you want to create short, punchy webinars that create curiosity and get people interested in booking a call with you.

The Impact of Webinars

One of our clients, Mark, implemented webinars and saw a massive response. He was able to raise $440,000 from the first webinar that he did. Six months later, he did another webinar and was able to raise over one million dollars from that one webinar. This shows the power of webinars when it’s part of a comprehensive process.
